Temitope Adeboyejo Foundation Launch

The Temitope Adeboyejo Foundation (TAF), a non-profit organisation committed to significantly reducing hypertension in Nigeria, is set to launch a major initiative aimed at reducing hypertension rates among vulnerable populations by 20% over the next five years.

The official launch is scheduled for September 22nd at the Lifepoint Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. This event will be a significant milestone in Nigeria’s fight against hypertension. It will feature a keynote address by Dr. Afolashade Oluwole, a leading cardiovascular consultant, titled “Taking Control of Your Pressure: A Holistic Approach to Hypertension Prevention and Management.” The address will emphasize the importance of proactive health management and provide valuable insights into preventing and managing hypertension.

The event will also include a tribute to the late Mrs. Temitope Adeboyejo, whose life and courageous battle against hypertension inspired the foundation’s creation. A short film, “Suddenly” will be screened, offering a poignant reflection on her life and the devastating effects of the disease, while highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment.

Additionally, attendees will be introduced to the dedicated individuals comprising TAF’s Board of Trustees. This team, with its diverse expertise and passion for healthcare, will guide the foundation’s mission and ensure its ongoing success.
